Absolut Lunch Break Event and Nylon Men's Pop-Up Shop Event

I attended two really great events in the Meatpacking District this week. First I attended the Absolut Lunch Break Event at Cielo from 12:30pm-1:30pm. Questlove was the DJ and the event included a free drink ticket and a snack bag for each person filled with sandwiches, apples, and KIND bars! Everyone was dancing and having an incredible time. What's better than an hour lunch break where you can have a drink, dance, and free food? The fun didn't stop there! Later that same day I attended the Nylon Guys Pop-Up shop event where I was asked to model the CLNFN "LOVE" shirt. I was a bit apprehensive at first but I figured how often do you walk into an event and randomly get asked to model something? The shirt actually looked great with my outfit and I had a lot of fun with the mini photoshoot we had going on! It was a pretty productive day if I do say so myself!

On our first day in LA, my boyfriend and I decided to do a little shopping on Melrose! I always love shopping on Melrose because it reminds me a lot of Soho since they have so many little trendy boutiques along with higher end stores. There are also vintage and thrift stores on this ave which are most definitely my fave type of stores. Two of my favorites are Slow and Wasteland. The newest Dash store also opened up on Melrose so it was cool to get a glimpse of their new location. I saw this bag at Urban Outfitters that I absolutely fell in love with. Loved the hardware on it and I really needed a new black bag so it was perfect! While we were walking, we came across this wall that was painted a bright pink and of course it was the perfect background for a photoshoot! hehe Later in the evening we ate at Pink Taco where I had the yummiest lobster enchilada! It was so good and the margaritas were hella strong just the way I like em!

Sunny Sunday!

I spent the entire day with my younger sis accompanying her to a highschool open house and walking around the city enjoying the gorgeous weather we had yesterday! I wore a light jacket but made sure to wear a heavy scarf to keep me warm. This was probably one of my most comfortable outfits and it was perfect for strolling around the city. Hope you like!

Hanging by the Hudson

I always love relaxing or going for a run by the Hudson River and the Intrepid when the weather is nice! It's very close to my home and since the weather is soon to change I figured I take a little walk and hang by the pier and enjoy the scenery. Looking out over the Hudson and New Jersey is always pleasant and the atmosphere is always so serene.

Brunch at STK!

My sister and I headed over to STK in the Meatpacking District to have brunch on Sunday afternoon. The weather was BEYOND perfect so we had to take advantage of a little rooftop action before it starts getting cold out. The food was absolutely amazing and I'm glad I finally made it there after wanting to go all summer. I decided to mix a little summer and fall into my ensemble for the day! Hope you like!
