On Tuesday evening, my sisters and I attended the Simply Made in Manhattan event to watch our friend MUA Jae teach a makeup class! She is so talented and it was so fun to watch her work her magic up close and personal. She is definitely a true artist in every way and we learned makeup tricks we had never even heard of before. There was even a table full of cupcakes, fashion magazines, and goodie bags for all the guests to take home! Make sure you follow Jae's Instagram @instajae_ and @simplymadeinmahattan to find out how you can attend future events!

I took a little walk over to Lincoln Center yesterday afternoon and was surrounded by the likes of some of the biggest names in fashion! Coco Rocha, Anna Dello Russo, and Jenna Lyons were all dressed to the nines as they exited the shows at Lincoln Center. Fortunately I stopped by just in time to capture it all! I even got to see the stylish Margaret Zhang in the flesh and took the opportunity to take some photos of my fabulous sister in her chic fur coat! Hope you enjoy the photos!

Absolut Lunch Break Event and Nylon Men's Pop-Up Shop Event

I attended two really great events in the Meatpacking District this week. First I attended the Absolut Lunch Break Event at Cielo from 12:30pm-1:30pm. Questlove was the DJ and the event included a free drink ticket and a snack bag for each person filled with sandwiches, apples, and KIND bars! Everyone was dancing and having an incredible time. What's better than an hour lunch break where you can have a drink, dance, and free food? The fun didn't stop there! Later that same day I attended the Nylon Guys Pop-Up shop event where I was asked to model the CLNFN "LOVE" shirt. I was a bit apprehensive at first but I figured how often do you walk into an event and randomly get asked to model something? The shirt actually looked great with my outfit and I had a lot of fun with the mini photoshoot we had going on! It was a pretty productive day if I do say so myself!

Beauty Fave: Bold Pink Lips

pinkk

A bold, pink lip is EVERYTHING! I just love a really rich, strong pink lip shade. It brings out the Barbie doll in everyone and can really make you stand out! So many celebrities like Rihanna and Emma Stone have been spotted rocking the girly shade. Makeup artists also used it for their spring runway makeup looks! Two killer lipsticks that I love by Wet n Wild are Passionate, Mauve Outta Here, and 525D. I wear these ALL the time! My personal fave, which I'm wearing in the top left photo, is by Make Up Forever Intense Rouge. The color is so bright and intense and makes such a statement! However, I'm not exactly sure if they make the exact shade that I wear anymore. It's actually a sample and has lasted me a long time but as soon as it's over I will be checking to make sure they did not discontinue it. From light pink to fuchsia there are so many options to choose from. Every girl is bound to find her perfect shade!

My sister and I had the wonderful opportunity to work backstage at the Farah Angsana show on September 10th at Lincoln Center! To be able to be a part of New York Fashion Week and meet the designer and models was beyond awesome! We got to view the collection before it even hit the runway and I had the most amazing time. Enjoy the photos!

My birthday weekend has been a complete success! The weather is beyond beautiful for this time of year! The day after my birthday my sis took me to Yotel for sunday brunch and let me tell you there is nothing on the planet like sunday brunch at Yotel. For $35, you get unlimited food and alcohol from 11am-3pm. I've never eaten so much in my life! I had grilled salmon, shrimp, salad, mimosas and everything else on the menu lol. It was incredible and the view from the rootop is breathtaking. Yotel is right across the street from my apartment so it's going to be a little difficult to fight the urge to make yotel my weekly sunday spot lol. I wore these coral wide-leg pants with a crop-top and taupe suede platforms. My sister wore this super cute green mod dress. I wanted to start doing new things with my hair so I wore it in a braid to switch things up a little. The look was definitely well received! :)

My sisters and I decided to visit the Museum of Natural History this afternoon and we had a wonderful time! We had free vouchers and they expired today so we wanted to take full advantage of the opportunity. Surprisingly I've never been to this museum so I was really excited. The first thing we did when we got there was go see Journey to the Stars. This was absolutely amazing! Everyone should go see it! It's a surreal experience and showed how truly small we are compared to the rest of the universe! We then went on to check out the dinosaurs, mammals, and birds. It was great. Afterward we walked to Magnolia Bakery, which I had also never been too, and I picked the chocolate truffle cupcake with white chocolate filling. We then walked over to Lincoln Center where we sat to enjoy our cupcakes and check out the scene. There were so many well dressed people out there, including a female group of models who were being interviewed and a couple other models heading in to get ready for a show. All in all it was a fun day it reminded me how much more there is to explore in my beautiful city! By the way in that last photo my fingers look like sausages and I don't know why lol it looks like I had been walking on my fingers all day instead of my feet!
