Visiting Venice!

I wanted to take full advantage of the beautiful Cali weather so Peter and I headed on over to Venice beach to catch some rays. I always love Venice because there's always something entertaining going on! Whether it's a basketball game or a skateboard competition you are destined to have a good time. A little while later we met up with my boo Liz and took a walk and later ate at some awesome Peruvian restaurant called Mario's. The food was AMAZING! I had a dish called lomo saltado that would have made your soul melt! In the evening we met up with Liz again and my bestie Ryan and did a little bar hopping! After hitting up a few bars Liz took us to a random warehouse party where Riff Raff and Lil Debbie were performing! Can you believe the party was free and open bar?! My kinda party! Unfortunately I don't know exactly where my pants are from because a friend of my mom's gave them to her and she gave them to me. I know many find it icky to wear clothing that has already been worn by someone else but I feel as long as you get it dry cleaned or wash it really well it's completely fine! Brunch at STK!

My sister and I headed over to STK in the Meatpacking District to have brunch on Sunday afternoon. The weather was BEYOND perfect so we had to take advantage of a little rooftop action before it starts getting cold out. The food was absolutely amazing and I'm glad I finally made it there after wanting to go all summer. I decided to mix a little summer and fall into my ensemble for the day! Hope you like!

Dinner at Mastro's Steakhouse in Beverly Hills!

I just came back from LA almost a week ago and I'm still catching up on sleep! My boyfriend and I flew out there for LA fashion week and to celebrate his birthday. My birthday was a few days before we left so I guess we were celebrating mine too ;) We had an awesome time! Everytime we go out there I have the time of my life! I literally come alive! The first day we got there we checked out the shops on Melrose, had lunch at Joan's on Third, and went to Mastro's Steakhouse for Peter's bday dinner. If you ever go to Joan's you must have the strawberry banana smoothie! It's so good! It's whipped and a little thick so it's a little more fun to drink than your average smoothie. I also had a banana walnut muffin which was yummy! After that we checked into our hotel and settled in. Our reservations for dinner were at 9 so we headed out to Beverly Hills. The restaurant, the staff, and the food was pure perfection! I ordered salmon with steamed broccoli and Peter ordered a 100 dollar steak (yes i said a 100 dollar steak) with macaroni and cheese. Their macaroni and cheese is the best I've ever tasted in my life hands down. I'm not even kidding you. They even brought out a free birthday cake for Peter! Amazing! The staff was so polite and kind. I will return to Mastro's EVERY time I go to cali. For those curious, my wide leg jumpsuit is from Forever 21. Good food, good company, good times!
