On Tuesday evening, my sisters and I attended the Simply Made in Manhattan event to watch our friend MUA Jae teach a makeup class! She is so talented and it was so fun to watch her work her magic up close and personal. She is definitely a true artist in every way and we learned makeup tricks we had never even heard of before. There was even a table full of cupcakes, fashion magazines, and goodie bags for all the guests to take home! Make sure you follow Jae's Instagram @instajae_ and @simplymadeinmahattan to find out how you can attend future events!

Sephora Times Square celebrated their re-opening on December 5th with all kinds of surprises, events, and special appearances! The special events lasted until Saturday with free gift cards given each day to the first 100 customers in line. I walked away with $55 in Sephora gift cards in total and can you believe my sister walked away with $185 in gift cards?!?! I have to admit I haven't been to Sephora in a really long time since I usually order products right off of their site. After stepping foot inside, I remembered exactly why. I was like a kid in a candy store! It's way worse to shop at their store than it is to shop online. Everything is so colorful, fun, and right in your face that you can't help but want to buy everything! The photos I took are mostly of products I haven't tried yet. The only products I have tried from the photos are my favorite Make Up Forever Rouge Artist Intense lipstick in satin fuchsia and Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Glow Pads. If any of you have tried any of these products, please let me know what you think of them. I am curious and would love to know if they are worth a try!
