MAKE x Birchbox Breakfast Event!

Obsessed is an understatement when describing how I feel about MAKE! I was introduced to the brand at the Birchbox breakfast event held at the Birchbox store in Soho and learned all about the NYC-based brand. This beauty brand is so modern from the colors to the packaging and really takes it to a whole new level when it comes to makeup and art! Each season MAKE will collaborate with two makeup artists to create a collection and one-third of sales will be donated to the We See Beauty Foundation which funds next generation businesses in America. The colors are so vibrant and I cant get over how innovative and original the packaging is compared to so many other makeup brands currently on the market! My fave product from my bag of goodies would have to be the Bronze Molten Shadow. It is so vibrant, creamy, and pigmented and is perfect for a holiday makeup look or a night out! Golden Girl

I've been taking a much more minimalistic and simple approach to fashion, beauty, and makeup. I really love a more natural, easy, and effortless look and this also applies to the jewelry and accessories I've been adding to my outfits lately. The ever so sweet Riccilee sent me over these beautiful necklaces and a gold bracelet that work perfectly with everything I wear and compliment every outfit! The dainty spike necklace, Ellie necklace, and coil chain bracelet are my everyday pieces that I wear to add just the right touch to each one of my looks. Sunday Sweetness!

My sister Skye and I took a little walk through Central Park on our way to Laduree for a Sunday treat. I haven't been to this side of the park in a really long time so we stopped to take some pictures and soak in the scenery. I've been on a mission to explore my city in a whole new way and everyday I fall in love with it more and more. Casual Glam!

These photos were taken last week when it was a little warmer. I finally caved and bought myself a pair of boyfriend denim shorts. I haven't worn denim shorts since I was a teen and I'm definitely a little late on the trend considering it's now fall lol but I'm sure the trend will stick around for awhile!

New York City Sunsets!

On Friday evening I stopped by the pier with my sister and my niece to watch the beautiful sunset and I was completely overcome with a sense of peace. The energy was so calm and peaceful that I didn't want to leave. This is one of favorite places to come and relax and meditate or reflect. It reminded me of how much I love my city and all of its wonderful settings!

Topshop at The Grove

This post comes a little late but I totally forgot to mention I stopped by the new Topshop at the Grove! I heard mixed reviews about it so I wanted to check it out for myself. I definitely saw some things I really liked and my boyfriend was totally in awe at the men's section! haha he spotted so many things he wanted as well but I must say I like the New York location a lot better. To be honest, I actually haven't been to the one in Soho in a really long time so I think it's about time I stop by. The only problem is I can't help but want everything whenever I stop to shop there! lol I also got to see Heidi Klum since she was filming a segment with Maria Menounos for Extra! Michael Cinco Fashion Show!

Michael Cinco's runway show at Style Fashion Week was truly AMAZING! These photos clearly speak for themselves and I can't even describe what it was like to see these impeccable creations up close at his runway show. He wowed the crowd with his immaculate designs and I was left in complete awe. This was definitely the best way to end Style Fashion Week and I feel so lucky to have been present to experience all the fashion, fun, and fabulousness that is Style Fashion Week!
