On our second day of our trip to Cali, Peter and I met up with Ryan and Liz to spend the day in Malibu. I had never been to Malibu the other times I've been to LA so I was super excited! It was so surreal! There were these caves and to even get down to the water you had to go down this little path full of rocks. It was a little scary to navigate our way onto the sand but I loved it! I have to go back the next time we visit!

I just came back from LA almost a week ago and I'm still catching up on sleep! My boyfriend and I flew out there for LA fashion week and to celebrate his birthday. My birthday was a few days before we left so I guess we were celebrating mine too ;) We had an awesome time! Everytime we go out there I have the time of my life! I literally come alive! The first day we got there we checked out the shops on Melrose, had lunch at Joan's on Third, and went to Mastro's Steakhouse for Peter's bday dinner. If you ever go to Joan's you must have the strawberry banana smoothie! It's so good! It's whipped and a little thick so it's a little more fun to drink than your average smoothie. I also had a banana walnut muffin which was yummy! After that we checked into our hotel and settled in. Our reservations for dinner were at 9 so we headed out to Beverly Hills. The restaurant, the staff, and the food was pure perfection! I ordered salmon with steamed broccoli and Peter ordered a 100 dollar steak (yes i said a 100 dollar steak) with macaroni and cheese. Their macaroni and cheese is the best I've ever tasted in my life hands down. I'm not even kidding you. They even brought out a free birthday cake for Peter! Amazing! The staff was so polite and kind. I will return to Mastro's EVERY time I go to cali. For those curious, my wide leg jumpsuit is from Forever 21. Good food, good company, good times!

My birthday weekend has been a complete success! The weather is beyond beautiful for this time of year! The day after my birthday my sis took me to Yotel for sunday brunch and let me tell you there is nothing on the planet like sunday brunch at Yotel. For $35, you get unlimited food and alcohol from 11am-3pm. I've never eaten so much in my life! I had grilled salmon, shrimp, salad, mimosas and everything else on the menu lol. It was incredible and the view from the rootop is breathtaking. Yotel is right across the street from my apartment so it's going to be a little difficult to fight the urge to make yotel my weekly sunday spot lol. I wore these coral wide-leg pants with a crop-top and taupe suede platforms. My sister wore this super cute green mod dress. I wanted to start doing new things with my hair so I wore it in a braid to switch things up a little. The look was definitely well received! :)

My sisters and I decided to visit the Museum of Natural History this afternoon and we had a wonderful time! We had free vouchers and they expired today so we wanted to take full advantage of the opportunity. Surprisingly I've never been to this museum so I was really excited. The first thing we did when we got there was go see Journey to the Stars. This was absolutely amazing! Everyone should go see it! It's a surreal experience and showed how truly small we are compared to the rest of the universe! We then went on to check out the dinosaurs, mammals, and birds. It was great. Afterward we walked to Magnolia Bakery, which I had also never been too, and I picked the chocolate truffle cupcake with white chocolate filling. We then walked over to Lincoln Center where we sat to enjoy our cupcakes and check out the scene. There were so many well dressed people out there, including a female group of models who were being interviewed and a couple other models heading in to get ready for a show. All in all it was a fun day it reminded me how much more there is to explore in my beautiful city! By the way in that last photo my fingers look like sausages and I don't know why lol it looks like I had been walking on my fingers all day instead of my feet!

I recently did my cousin Crystal's hair and makeup for her pregnancy photoshoot! I had so much fun since it was my first time doing anyone else's makeup besides my own. I've done hair before so that was easy. On her eyes, I used Maybelline Eyestudio palette in Neutrals, Wet N Wild black liquid eyeliner, Nars Orgasm blush, and Maybelline One by One Mascara. On her hair I used a Hot Tools curling iron and Finesse Extra Hold Hairspray. She looked beautiful and I'm so glad I was there to see it all take place. I gave her my signature cateye of course and the photoshoot turned out great! Love her!
