I attended the Wet N Wild beauty blogger event at the Smyth hotel in Tribeca on Thursday evening to celebrate the launch of the Wet N Wild 2013 Collection and the Fergie Centerstage Collection. There were cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a whole lot of makeup at this event! The beauty bloggers were able to get a first look at the makeup collections and there was even a makeup artist present ready to try different makeup looks using all the brand new Wet N Wild makeup products! All the products were on display for us to get an up close and personal look at all the fun new makeup and there were bowls filled with everything from eyeshadow palettes to lipsticks for us to choose from. Not only did we get to choose whatever we wanted from the displays, but we also went home with goodie bags loaded with all the brand new makeup from both collections! I couldn't have been more happy to be invited to this event and it was a pleasure to finally meet all the wonderful women behind Wet N Wild. I have always been such a huge fan of Wet N Wild products since I was a teen and I love that they prove a women can truly look beautiful on a budget. Since I received so many amazing makeup products at this event, I would like to do a little giveaway to share some of these goodies with two lucky readers!

To enter, follow me on Instagram if you don't already and leave me a comment on my giveaway photo or here on my blog telling me what makeup look are you excited to try this upcoming Spring! Are you excited to try new, bright, and fun eyeshadow colors? Are you ready to try a summery bright lip color? I will be choosing one winner from my blog comments and one winner from my Instagram comments on Friday! Thanx for entering! XOXO

If you didn't make it out to the LuLu's NYFW Style Studio event, you most certainly missed a great deal of fun! There were so many freebies and giveways and each event-goer walked away with a Lulu's item completely free! Each person received a Lulu's tote bag filled with goodies upon entering the event. NYX cosmetics provided free makeovers and there were so many booths filled with free goodies including makeup, hair products, and gift cards. I picked out a really cute red short dress as my free Lulu's item that I wanted to take home with me and it fit perfectly! I'm so happy I was able to attend and I can't wait for the next one!

Yesterday my sister and I attended the VIP blogger event at The Sewing Studio! Portia Makoma was kind enough to personally invite a few New York based bloggers to a private sewing lesson where we learned how to make a fashionable, cute clutch! I have been wanting to learn how to sew for so long and this gave me the opportunity to finally sit down and learn the basics of sewing. Portia made sure to have water, tea, and apple cider waiting for us and there were goodie bags at each of our sewing stations with our names on them. Charlene Washington was our instructor and led us through each step in learning how to sew our clutch. She did a wonderful job of guiding us through the process and made us feel confident we were doing a great job. I was a little uneasy at first since I'm not the best when it comes to DIY projects, but it was tons of fun nevertheless. We were all proud when our fun little project was completed and I am so happy I was able to be a part of this event! Sewing is a really great skill that everyone should learn. It comes in handy and can help you not only make but fix tons of different things! A big thanks to Portia, Charlene, and The Sewing Studio for having us! It was loads of fun and can't wait to do it again!

I couldn't forget about my lovely readers so I have a little giveaway I would like to share with you! One lucky reader will receive 50% off any class at The Sewing Studio and four lucky readers will win sewing class discounts! To enter you must you must follow me on Twitter and Instagram, and you must leave a comment below telling me what is the biggest reason why you would like to learn how to sew! Is it because you want to design and make your own clothes? Is it because you want to try your hand at a new skill? Let me know below and make sure to leave your email so I can contact you if you're a winner! Thanks for participating and hope you enjoyed the photos! xoxo
