I attended two really great events in the Meatpacking District this week. First I attended the Absolut Lunch Break Event at Cielo from 12:30pm-1:30pm. Questlove was the DJ and the event included a free drink ticket and a snack bag for each person filled with sandwiches, apples, and KIND bars! Everyone was dancing and having an incredible time. What's better than an hour lunch break where you can have a drink, dance, and free food? The fun didn't stop there! Later that same day I attended the Nylon Guys Pop-Up shop event where I was asked to model the CLNFN "LOVE" shirt. I was a bit apprehensive at first but I figured how often do you walk into an event and randomly get asked to model something? The shirt actually looked great with my outfit and I had a lot of fun with the mini photoshoot we had going on! It was a pretty productive day if I do say so myself!

Simple and Sleek Saturday!

I had a few errands to run on Saturday so here's a quick post on what I wore! I purchased this men's blazer at American Vintage in LA a few years back. I love wearing oversized pieces sometimes so this blazer is perfect for me. I'm also wearing my favorite fur snood/scarf that my sister made for me about two years ago. So chic and I love the fact that she actually made it herself! Hope you like the outfit!

Last night I attended the Karmaloop and Miss KL Nylon Pop-Up shop event in the Meatpacking District. I was actually very excited for this event as I'm a huge fan of Miss KL and Karmaloop. They always have really fun, edgy, and trendy pieces for men and women alike so I couldn't wait to see what they had at the pop-up shop. As I walked in I spotted a table filled with Baked by Melissa cupcakes and bowls of candy for everyone to snack on while at the event! To top it off there was an open bar sponsored by Svedka and a makeup booth set up for women to get their makeup done! I fell in love with all the clothing and accessories in both the women and mens section. I loved the whole set up of the shop as well as how everything was displayed. I met a bunch of really cool new people and I definitely had a good time. The Nylon Pop-Up shop is open until December 18th so make sure to go check it out!

Sephora Times Square celebrated their re-opening on December 5th with all kinds of surprises, events, and special appearances! The special events lasted until Saturday with free gift cards given each day to the first 100 customers in line. I walked away with $55 in Sephora gift cards in total and can you believe my sister walked away with $185 in gift cards?!?! I have to admit I haven't been to Sephora in a really long time since I usually order products right off of their site. After stepping foot inside, I remembered exactly why. I was like a kid in a candy store! It's way worse to shop at their store than it is to shop online. Everything is so colorful, fun, and right in your face that you can't help but want to buy everything! The photos I took are mostly of products I haven't tried yet. The only products I have tried from the photos are my favorite Make Up Forever Rouge Artist Intense lipstick in satin fuchsia and Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Glow Pads. If any of you have tried any of these products, please let me know what you think of them. I am curious and would love to know if they are worth a try!

Legs and Leather

outfit details

I was so happy it was warm enough on this day for me to wear my fave sheer thigh high pantyhose. I bought them a few years ago as part of a Halloween costume and ended up wearing them regularly. I've also had this plaid shirt and the sneakers for quite a few years as well. I tend to keep a lot of my old clothes since everything comes right back around in terms of fashion. Hope you like the outfit!
